[Serious] Why is Bernie Sanders not as popular with older voters?

Obama used religion during his campaign and won. He knew how to get those who were on the fence but also religious. Trump doesn't know shit about religion and is trying to appeal to the far right during this primary. Trump sucks. Sanders sucks. Both would make absolutely horrible Presidents. Not based on their ideas, but based on the truth of what would happen. I am honestly pissed that currently, the two top choices are fucking ridiculous and wouldn't get shit done. Hillary is probably the best pick (I fucking know Reddit hates her) or Rubio. Rubio is a cool younger dude who would probably be a good guy to merge the aisles. Hillary was secretary of state and gets the world issues. Sanders and Trump are just wacky dudes with ludicrous ideas that won't happen here. As much as I love taking money from the big corporations and passing it to us, it does not work like that. Not at all. Not whatsoever. You can't build a wall to fix terrorism. You can't tax the fuck out of Americans and big corps and expect them to stand idly by and say okay. The big corps would literally say bye. Granted none of that would even happen as congress and big corps wouldn't allow it for Sanders, and Trumps ideas of a wall or sending back illegals are both too big and too expensive to ever happen. Both Trump and Sanders have great ideas and they would be great in a tiny country. But here in the US...no way their ideas happen without straight up chaos and loss of jobs. Probably a depression. You can't tax the fuck out of businesses that aren't REALLY doing that well globally right now. Oil companies are losing shit, you can't upsell other ideas when oil prices are bottomed out. Neither of those two guys could get shit done. Period.
