I'm currently thinking about making some life choices, and I would like you to share your experience with me so that I can do the right choice for me.

I'm not looking for moral judgement or religious references, but honest answers to my questions by men who experienced hookups with women or short-term relationships before settling down. Feedback by women whose husband had such a lifestyle is also appreciated.

Here are some questions for which I would like an answer. If you have more relevant things and personal experience to share, please do as long as it is not moral or religious. :-)

1. Once you settled down, did you regret hooking up with various women?
2. Does your wife know about your past sexual experiences? If so, how does she feel about it?
3. Do you compare your wife to past women (willingly or not)? If so, does it interfere with your sentimental / sexual life?
4. Did happen that you or the girl was more emotionally implicated (thought that would pursue in a more or less serious relationship).
5. Did your family support this lifestyle? If not (religious family, or other), how did you manage it? (Hide? "Deal with it" attitude?)
6. Is there some stuff that is rarely talked about but that is worth knowing? (Be it positive or negative).
