[Serious] If intelligence or being smart is not enough to become successful, what is the use of being smart or being intelligent?

Here's a trippy line of thought:

What does "being smart/having intelligence" mean?

Is it knowing big words?

Is it being able to do complex math?

Is it being able to understand what others are thinking and predict their behavior?

Is it being able to appreciate when others can do something you can't and making sure they have the resources to do it?

Is it being able to remember anything?

Is it b being good at logic puzzles and solving logical problems?

Is it having sudden bursts of inspiration that happen to provide solutions to problems?

What if you can only do one or two of these? Are you still intelligent?

The problem is that "being smart" is a very ill-defined thing. There are many ways of being smart, and most smart people aren't all of them at once.
