[SERIOUS] Parents who regret having kids: why?

One thing that parents don't realize is that there is a very small window for children to be socialized out of this kind of behavior. It's not inherited, it's left over aggression coding from the ape time. Children start exhibiting it around the age of 2. Most 'well adjusted' people are socialized out of it. By age 4 if it's not reigned in, it's basically too late.

I'm not saying this to say it's all your fault or something, just that society doesn't have this conversation and a lot of people pay the price for it. I was one of these troubled kids.

If it's any consolation, most grow out of it by 28 or so.

If I have any advice, it would be to look into something like Big Brothers Big Sisters, some program where he can interact with someone who has already walked the path he's traveling on, and can maybe guide him towards another.
