[Serious] People that have been diagnosed with schizophrenia, what was the first time you noticed something wasn't quite right?

I’m just going to put it out there that it’s not always your imagination. Twice in my life I felt someone was watching me (not schizophrenic btw) and I was right! Once there was someone watching me from a floor to ceiling vent (it went on for about an hour— hairs standing on end and I couldn’t shake it). I finally went to inspect and that f—ker took off running through a nearby exit door. I️ should’ve called security or the cops but I️ didn’t want it to be attributed to an overactive imagination.

Another time I was in a public bathroom and felt like someone was staring at me from the ceiling but I️ thought It was overactive imagination so I shook it off. Next day that ass—ole got caught! He moved or dropped something up there and someone else reported that an animal might be trapped in the ceiling. Maintenance people found a guy masturbating in the damn ceiling and he confessed he had been doing it for weeks without getting caught.
