A few days after I moved into my new place I was cutting my hair in the bathroom. After cutting my hair I go into the dark kitchen and out of the corner of my eye thought I saw someone in the window then move away. I was freaked out for days, my mind was playing tricks on me.

Two weeks later After I cut my hair again I saw another similar flash of movement but this time in my living room. I thought, what the hell, that can't be, there's nothing there. I then started to think the place was haunted.

I go back into the bathroom mirror to check my hair for a few minutes. Come back out into the dim room and see a flash in front of me. That's when I started to think maybe it was the bright lights above the bathroom mirror that was causing this flash. Going from looking into those lights then into a dark or dim room was causing these flashes out of the corner of my eyes. Waited 20 minutes, did the routine. Yup, it was the lights.

Makes you wonder about all the "ghost" stories out there and how many started from stupid things like this but never got resolved. And in extreme cases how maybe the mind playing tricks drove people insane over thinking there place was haunted.
