[Serious] Redditors who killed someone through accident or negligence, what happened and how has it affected your life?

Was a very, very, very crafty teenager. I had a 3.95, accepted to all of the great UC schools. I played 3 sports. I had teachers wrapped around my finger and I was dating the guy that broke all their hearts, and I had changed him (so they'd say). My mom was really the only one who knew me, my mom and my best friend, who just happened to be that guy's sister. Everyone thought I was so freaking perfect. Truth is, she and I were secretly hooking up, and we were running the school. We would also deal drugs. We set up all the fun parties, itineraries and shit. We lived in a very, very, very rich place where rents would leave to Europe for 6 weeks, no problem. I also ran a ring of note-writing for kids to get out of class. I had "parent" writing and I would always mix it up. We charged for parties, drugs, notes, whatever. And we never got caught. I had a side job to hide the cash flow. I also had 56 absences in one semester but because the teacher was also gone due to cancer(she had a sub, but the sub had no power), I got away with it. Jesus, I scare me just thinking of it, now. Anyway long story short, we graduated and a year later we went to our drug dealer's house because we were killing it, and we accidentally ended up killing him, killing our supply and effectively killing any desire I had to also die. Problem was he was not just our dealer, he was friends with our friend and the repercussions were kind of harsh at first. Afterall, he was a drug dealer, it wasn't entirely our faults that he OD and we didn't. But it wasn't his fault either and right before she injected him, he told my friend he was scared and didn't want to do it. But it was literally as she was pushing the plunger. Fucked my life up but inevitably it also cleaned me up for good. I have horrible dreams now, though. I was questioned by the police but we again, were fucking too smooth. I said I had no fucking clue what happened and they believed me, he had prior arrests and I was a fucking saint on paper. But yeah, we killed him.
