[Serious] Redditors who have lost someone to suicide, what was it like?

A friend from highschool i lost in touch with. He killed himself two years ago at 24.

He was a pretty funny guy with a bit of a temper. He was a goofball of a skater. We met through a mutual friend that was also a skater (I never got past just riding in a straight line lol) in sophomore year. I had him for both history and chemistry in junior and senior year. He had a C- (partly thanks to me) in both classes. He usually made the whole class laugh, except for most of his teachers. Our chemistry teacher thought he was hilarious though. I think our chem. teacher knew he was copying some Hw but he was ok with it since he was a funny kid and still passed the standard test. Him and his bestfriends hanged out sometimes with our chem teacher in the classroom during lunch. He was the only teacher he seemed to respect by not causing too much trouble for him and just joking with him lots.

Looking back i did see bits and pieces his home life not being best, he seemed to have some issues with his dad. He liked going out to skate and lagging in school work. Also the times he snapped a little from a prank from me or a mutual friend and the times he brought vodka mixed sunny-d in history class a few times. I ran into to him a half dozen times after highschool, yelled my nickname Across the street or in a car in his unique scratchy voice. The last time he yelled my nickname was almost 5 years ago walking back from community college and he was passenger. We only rode one more time in bikes& skates together with some friends a year after graduation.

At 20yr he got 18yr old pregnant and wasn't find reliable
