This was a bad dream + bad night combo.

My first night after being admitted into a mental hospital, they gave me trazodone to sleep. They told me it might give me bad dreams but were very insistent I should take it, so I did. I knocked out pretty quick and had a dream that I walked out of a beautiful house onto a perfect lawn with literal white picket fences and birds singing, then I turned to look at my neighbor's house and apparently satan was my neighbor, because suddenly everything was engulfed in flames and demons started dancing around me and throwing human feces at me and satan was yelling at me in his evil distorted satan voice.

Then I woke up, sweating, in a mental hospital, not knowing where I was for a minute. Then I had to pee so I went to the bathroom, looked in the mirror and my eyes were the most bloodshot red I've ever seen, I looked high as a flight attendant. Scared the shit out of me but I went back to bed and instantly knocked back out. Never taking trazodone again.
