I was around 15 years old at the time and I was staying over at my best friends house. We were both around the same age. He has a little brother that was about 8 years old at the time.

Somewhere around midnight I decided to go to bed. I was staying in his brothers room while his brother was asleep on the couch in their entertainment room.

I’m sleeping soundly, until roughly 2-3am and I wake up to constant giggling coming from the closest. No lights are on, nothing, just constant giggling. Minutes go by while listening to this laughter and what I make out to be faint whispers. I finally get the courage to investigate, I open the closet door and turn the light on to find his brother sitting cris-crossed with his eyes closed in front of a mirror talking to the mirror. I asked, “Blake, who are you talking to?” He replied, “I’m talking to monkey boy.” I shut the door back. Walked out into the living room headed to wake my friend up but his dad was up cooking. So I told his dad instead explaining to him the situation and he said that it was normal and both my friend when he was around his younger brother’s age and his younger brother would both talk to an imaginary friend named monkey boy. The only difference is when my friend was younger the mirror wasn’t in the closet it was in the corner of the bedroom.
