Yeah, the problem is this is for a 40-hr a week job, in which they want me to work in-office five days a week. To me, that's not a great safety net. It's basically a freelance job with a fancy hat on it. They reimburse for travel, give me 24 days leave (although these are not contractually stated), but I have no pension, can be fired within 4 weeks, etc. I really don't see the benefit of this, except that I need the money. There are several people who have been working here for a couple years and seem fairly happy, so I'm not worried about them not paying. I'm more worried about how unprotected I am under this contract.
