Not my story but my brothers, he was 19 at the time and is 24 now.

He and a small group of friends were coming back from a party in a rural area that was just outside of the city we live in, and so the ways there and back were more country roads and forest areas. Anyway they’re driving back in the dark (my brother doesn’t drink), and they see a car that looks newly abandoned near an opening to a forest with its headlights on. He decides to stop and check to see if someone has crashed and had been hurt, and he finds the car undamaged but someone crouched down slightly deeper within the trees, their back turned to him but uncontrollably crying, he said it was almost like screaming. He can’t tell if it’s a guy or woman but he asks if they’re ok without getting any closer and the person doesn’t respond but instead keeps crying really loudly. He got really scared and decided to go back to the car and left whoever it was there still crying.

Needless to say he was really creeped out and told our family about it the next morning.
