(Serious) White people who grew up in low-income families or didn't experience "the good life", what does white privilege mean to you and how do you feel about the term?

I lived in poverty my entire childhood. And even later in life ended up living in public housing. We didn’t have a car, my dad was in prison for murder, my mom didn’t work for a long time. There were no extra curriculars, no advantages I didn’t work hard for. And even still, I had it way better than the Black kids. Because of my experience being piss poor and on welfare, looked down upon and called trash, I do relate to and understand a little tiny bit better what it’s like to lack advantage. Children can’t control what they are born into no more than the color they are. Still, I have it easier. Anyways, I’m a teacher now and an inspired civil rights advocate. I have not forgotten where I came from.
