Seriously who thinks of that!?

Unfortunately, studies show that it does impact the likelihood of committing a crime.

Sure, not everyone who consumes problematic porn goes on to abuse a real human being, but experts in criminal psychology and sexual disorders believe that a significant number of sexual offenders would not have offended, if they had not been exposed to that kind of porn. Many have been successfully treated by removing their access to it. There's also a major issue with the community built around this kind of fetish porn, which often has a whole lot of unsavory people orbiting it in search of like-minded individuals, who would be willing to pay for access to a more exclusive content.

That may not be reason enough to ban this type of porn, but maybe it's worth asking ourselves whether people, who participate in a community with a documented history of serving as recruitment grounds for sex offenders, deserve our unquestioning trust and respect.
