Trump says Planned Parenthood does 'wonderful things'

I have to preface by saying I don't really align with the Donald ideologically on the military, I'm just trying to explain my take on his stance:

He's very pro military from a stance of building the military. It strikes me as being a wield the big stick type of deal. He would generally prefer not intervening if we don't have to. There are two distinctions I see with how he feels about Iraq and Syria. One, he is generally against - or at least avoids advocating - boots on the ground. He would much rather just "bomb the hell out of them." I think he'd rather risk innocent casualties than become invested economically and with soldiers in a large campaign. Two, his objections to the Iraq war are more from a political stance than the simple "avoid intervention" stance. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know all the details, but he thought the stability risks in entering Iraq for that area of the middle east were greater than he feels airstrikes in Syria would be, for whatever reason he has.

While I'm not the biggest fan of this stance, I've found it to be at least consistent.

As far as the conservative label, I can't really disagree, but the conservative label doesn't mean that much anymore. The "conservative" party is the one that wants more military and domestic spying, so it's a big clusterfuck to me.

I think Sanders and Trump are more similar than you may think. While some of Bernie's supporters like his ideology, I think most of his appeal is on the message of his campaign. Many people like Bernie not because they agree with the socialist ideology, but because he is actually anti wall street, wants to protect the little guy, isn't bought by lobbyists, etc.
