My brother and I were having a beer and began talking about weird dreams we had in the past. I started talking about a disturbing dream where I experienced a dark entity in one of our old houses. The shadow, or entity was darker than the night, the eyes were a dull red and it was just waiting there in the kitchen, just watching. I was trying to paint a clear picture about the dream, trying to convey the fear when my brother stopped me and explained that he knew what happened next. We discussed the event, he remembered some and I remembered some. We don't really understand what happened. I remember waking to see my brother and 2 cousins trying to get away from the kitchen, so I looked in the kitchen and fear pushed me to the floor, we were trying to move while paralyzed by fear, we were trying to get out of it's line of sight on us. We remember this, like that one fact helped at the time. I looked at our fear from the floor (on my back) and at the kitchen one more time (opening and closing my eyes, trying to wake up). It was just standing there, I think smiling with glee. It was very disturbing that my brother could remember my nightmare so clearly like he was there, he says he remembers that night. He says it was real.

I recently visited my hometown, while there stopping a friends and family. At one house, one of the children hugged my leg and said "I see the dark man with red eyes looking at me through the windows at night" They have high windows. I did not speak, I had just entered the residence and no one but me heard the child. I left before night and try my hardest not to spend the night. If I do, I sleep with my back to the windows and keep my eyes shut. I also ignore every noise from outside the house.
