My girlfriend was raped 3 times as a child, she had to go into foster care because her mother had a serious addiction to crack, she had to go into foster care with 13 different families, 3 different guys of 3 of those families raped and abused her as a child multiple times a day for who knows how long...it was very hard for her to open up to me about this because she thought I would judge her and admitted to attempting suicide at the age of 11 she tried to hang her self from a ceiling fan but the ceiling fan broke, when the guy who had raped her found out he slit her wrist and raped her again, this continued for a year...I’m just glad she held on to the hope she had so I would be able to meet her one day in the future, I cannot imagine going through such pain as a child, just even going in for a hug she flinches and she is now 22 years old, I’m just glad that I met her and I can give her the love and affection she’s always needed
