Another one.

I hit a deer on the way to work but was able to drive the car to the employee parking lot. I call up the insurance company and rather than getting some helpful Indian who can speak clear English I get some ebonics speaking sheboon.

So I'm in the middle of a giant parking lot and she asks for the address which I didn't know exactly. But this is a small town and I worked at a giant factory visible from the main highway with a corporate sign on the highway, so finding the place is easy.

Now I'm 2 blocks away from the security desk where I could get the address and she's sitting in front of a computer. She keeps telling me "You ain't giving me good directions" Apparently I'm inconveniencing her or she doesn't know how to do a simple search. You can't tell me a call center doesn't have a way to verify or look up addresses.

Finally she gives up and just accepts the directions I gave her. The next day the claims guy is suppose to show up while I'm working. I call on my break to see if he showed up and the first thing she says is "He probably couldn't find the place because you didn't give good directions."

Now I'm in awe, but I've worked customer service before and I'm very passive when it comes to shit like this. I tried to quell my anger with the fact that I really didn't give the exact address and maybe I was just a "dumb customer". What I should have done was ripped into that bitch and got her manager or the companies complaint department.

Still pisses me off to no end to this day. Luckily I ended up getting a awesome payout and switched companies the next week. They lost a good $5k on me when I added up all the months I paid in.
