Unless you have low o2 sats and difficulty breathing and respiratory distress along with those fevers the ER isn't gonna do a damn thing for covid. They would admit Atlas and treat Atlas because Atlas fever of 105 is dangerously high. But Dom is complaining of a fever of 102, and that they aren't going to do a damn thing about outside of IV fluids and Tylenol if Dom hasn't already recently taken Tylenol (and she probably didn't and just rushed to the ER). Other than that, the ER is just gonna tell Dom to go home and give it a rest because they can't do a damn thing about covid anyway and they're backed up for beds. I visited a hospital ER recently for a job interview in ER patient registration and had overheard a nurse say they had 12 patients boarding because they had no empty upstairs beds
