Darmüle Brightstar Age: 28 Human Male Paladin Hair color: Blonde w/ beard Heir of House Brightstar Servant of Dol Arrah Protector of the Forest and Wilderness

Family Sword (2H Greatsword) StarBlaze

Brightstar Stronghold Wildstar

Born to parents Darmüth and Brielle Brightstar, Darmüle is the eldest son and heir to the Brightstar Legacy. At the age of 18, pledged his life to Dol Arrah in the name of all things light and good in the world.

Men in the Brightstar family are trained from a young age in defensive shielding techniques and in combat with the ancient family Greatsword named StarBlaze. StarBlaze is a massive two-handed behemoth of a sword, with the blade alone extending to 4 feet in length and 4 inches in width. The sword has lived for generations as the pride of the Brightstar name, believed to have been forged by a divine smith under orders of Dol Arrah as a gift to the incredibly loyal family. The story is told that, upon bestowal to Lord Darhün Brightstar, the blade shone brighter than any star witnessed by mortal eyes. Only members of the Brightstar bloodline could look directly at the blade without being turned to ashes, and it is said that the incomprehensibly beautiful face of Dol Arrah could be seen looking back at the wielder, granting him unparalleled courage and strength to fight for the light in the world. It is said that any enemy Lord Darhün struck with the blade burst into white flames as hot as the sun itself.

The Brightstar name was in the background of the world's minds, being protectors of the wilderness left little time for great songworthy deeds. Then, during the Stand of Delimbiyr, Lord Darmüth and men of other noble houses stood with the elves and druids in opposition of the growing orcish forces. It is said that even one orc had enough strength and will to fight that five men could be cut down with ease. Lord Darmüth struck down hundreds of these very orcs himself, brandishing StarBlaze just as Lord Darhün had in his legendary battles. Even more impressive is the fact that the Blaze of Dol Arrah remained dormant in the sword, as it has since Lord Darhün passed it down to his successor. Lord Darmüth's unparalleled swordplay brought the Brightstar name back into common knowledge, and continues to strike fear into the hearts of orcs to this day.

Once Darmüth's heir, Darmüle, became 18 years of age, StarBlaze was ceremoniously passed into his possession. To the astonishment of the entire Brightstar family, the blade glowed with a brilliant white gleam the instant he grasped the hilt. Darmüle himself was speechless, but as the blade began to grow dim he knew his destiny. He layed the sword on the altar in the shrine to Dol Arrah, sat and prayed to give thanks and ask for guidance. He prayed for 120 hours, five consecutive days, but amazingly suffered no hunger, thirst, or need for any other movement. Once he finished praying, he began preparations to leave the Brightstar lands until his duty to Dol Arrah is finished. He knelt before his father, the Wildstar King, and promised to uphold all that is light and good in the world and to represent the Brightstar name well. Being Darmüth's only son, Darmüle left behind two younger sisters who pray every day for his return. The entire family believes that the Brightstar name will pass into history with no heir to claim the throne upon Darmüth's passing. However, Darmüle told his mother, in secret, a message that Dol Arrah herself gave him when he prayed for those five days. Should Darmüle perish before his duty is fulfilled, he will ascend to stand at the right hand of Dol Arrah for eternity. StarBlaze will materialize at the Shrine of Dol Arrah and return to the Brightstar stronghold. Should this happen, Brielle will become pregnant one final time. She will give birth to a boy and the child will be named Darhün. Both Darmüle and his mother now know that as long as Dol Arrah has power, the Brightstar name will never perish.

Soon after his departure, Darmüle noticed peculiar traps set in various places in the wilderness. Eventually, one of the traps he came across had been triggered, and ensnared was a unicorn. There were men gathered around the terrified creature, and in the name of Dol Arrah, Darmüle demanded they explain themselves. The trappers naturally attacked without hesitation, but were quickly subdued by the more experienced paladin. Of the five enemies, four were defeated and became unconscious in the battle. The fifth yielded instead of standing against the fearsome paladin. Once the trappers had been restrained, Darmüle questioned the conscious one and found out about the Beast Battles at the Coliseum. Darmüle's primary mission then became the task of ending the use of light creatures in the Beast Battles.
