Skincare routine- what's yours?

Before makeup:

  • Cleanse with Boscia Cleansing Oil & Neogen Foaming Cleanser, or CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser in the shower
  • Apply Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel (my new favorite thing)
  • Apply Dr Jart Ceramidin Liquid & Cream all over
  • Apply Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream on eye area (also got the IT Cosmetics eye cream sample and I love it)
  • Spray Mario Badescu Rosewater

After makeup:

  • Use No7 Quick Thinking Wipes
  • Cleanse with either CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser or Exuviance Cleansing Creme
  • Apply Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel
  • Apply Dr Jart Ceramidin Liquid & Cream
  • Apply Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream and/or Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask
  • Apply Bite Agave Lip Mask or Blistex Complete Moisture

On my skincare days I'll use:

  • for pimples - Origins Out of Trouble Mask, Lush Magnaminty
  • for dryness - Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask, Tony Moly Rice Mask, The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2%
  • for irritation - Origins Mega Mushroom Mask
  • chemical exfoliation - Drunk Elephant TLC Serum or Dr Jart Milk Peel

I have dry skin with eczema and have recently become slightly oily in my T-zone.

I'm super lazy and I don't do this every day, just days I wear makeup. I work nights so I want a mindless routine to take it off. I admittedly sometimes sleep in my makeup or only use face wipes. If I do either, when I wake up I do the whole before makeup thing and add extra moisturizer. When I don't wear makeup, I lightly cleanse, moisturize and do skin care stuff.

I was using facial oil (Tarte Maracuja Oil) and really didn't see a difference. I thought my dry skin would love it. After cutting it out of my routine, I feel like I have less pimples.

My skin is nowhere near perfect and I feel I could have a more simple routine (because of laziness). But I like trying out new stuff.
