Smiling.

I told her straight up in text that I've learned a lot from her etc. but are we even friends? And she said "yes lol." This was a bit after I asked her out on a date and she said I'm not her type.

After the rejection she was kinda awkward, but I kept smiling and being the opposite of awkward. After I asked her if we're friends she now treats me more friendly and more smiles, no more awkwardness.

I do think the smiles we share are genuine. I find it really hard to believe that I'm nothing to her, not even a friend, with the way she treats me, but I guess everything is a possibility. It's just hard to believe, I mean, she says hi to me with a smile, a smile!

And as for non-work hours, well, it's my fault I can't take her anywhere. Girls don't want to drive you around, I learned from her, and I can't drive. However.. she answers my texts, sometimes they may be a day late, but she always answers them and I don't feel like I'm getting half assed responses or attitude, or anything like that. I know she actually is pretty busy... but when we first started to get to know each other, she responded quite fast for at least a week.

I'm going to see her at work today. Maybe I'll have a deeper talk with her today.
