Someone threw away kittens in a dumpster at my construction site. So I went to the petsmart and got kitty formula and a dropper and fed them and found them a kitty shelter. I am not a cat person at all but was appalled that someone could do this. They made a full recovery and are living happy lives

Won't too long ago they went in a cloth feed sack with a stone and into the river. I am glad OP saved this kitten, but I wonder about all the ones who don't get saved in dumpsters. Would the river be a kindness? I never threw a sack of kittens in the river and we usually ended keeping the ones people threw out near our house. I bet we had hundreds of cats through the years.

Spay and neuter your pets people. Especially with Covid going the way of the Korean War, if so many pets are ending up in shelters, many, many more than that are ending up out in the woods or on dirt roads... By the way, you aren't "getting a deal" if you only pay $2500 for a pureblood dog. You're getting what would be best described as... A protagonist or at the very least a strong supporting role in a pet-focused Wrong Turn sequel. A mutt will have a happier, healthier life than this poor thing. They come in cute, they come in cuddly, they come in protective, and they come in vicious; the only thing they really wish they came with is a home.
