Actually, it did take me a bit of time to type... but not as much as you might think!

That's thanks to my Mother in the late 1980's, who forced my to learn rapid "touch typing". So I currently type about 90 words per minute!

My mother was actually one of the first female programmers in the world! (She programmed IBM main frame computers in the early 1970's in Cobol and RPG!)

Sadly my Mom died a few weeks ago... :(

I miss her a lot because she was a very wise lady.

But yes... there were 3 main things my Mom constantly taught me while I was growing up...

1) Being able to type rapidly is ESSENTIAL to participating in the future of humanity!

2) Knowing how to program computers will give you a job for life!

3) Science and rockets are the future of humanity!
