Spent last winter hiding in one room, please help us get our heat back!

Last year right after my mom passed away I found out I was pregnant with my husband's and my own first child (surprise!!) and our central heat and air went out. My father is gone as well and we have no one to turn to. Back when I was 23 and on a $6 an hour pay I worked really hard to buy our small home, we love it dearly but have never made enough to replace the entire heating and cooling system that came with the home in the 80's. My husband and I started saving right away for the pregnancy because I would be out of work and so would he. My husband works a hard labor job but it is seasonal. Friends donated 3 ac units which have done wonders at keeping our home cool but keeping it warm is a lot harder. We were able to purchase a tower heater and my loving husband moved everything I could want or need into our room. For 12 weeks I lived in the small warm room just to keep our infant comfortable. Our little boy is now 9 months old and already starting to walk! I cannot bear another winter huddled up and am asking for help. We were told it would cost about $4500 to replace our system, it's too old to fix.

My husband and I both work full time and are always helping others but we have been taken advantage of three times already. We paid some guy to come "fix" our heat last year who ran off with our money and have taken in people down on their luck twice now who enjoyed free rent and food and then just left. With $20 in my account, an engine light on in our car and my very first Christmas (yes, at almost 30 I've never celebrated Christmas before and couldn't be more excited) right around the corner, I found myself desperate and searching online for some way to just catch up in life. My husband is such a good man with a kind heart and I hate to see him so down and worried. All we want is our air conditioning and heat back, we can find a way for the rest. I know a lot of people in the world are struggling with so much more but this is my personal plea. Living paycheck to paycheck and not being able to save makes life so scary as just one major repair could make our whole little world come crashing down. I want to thank you for any consideration you may make into assisting us in our time of need!

This is our gofundme thing I set up but if you message me I can give you my Paypal e-mail instead. <3
