[Spoilers Everything](/s "Season 5 Pros/Cons")

I really thought everything about the house of black and white was well done. I love when Arya says 'nothing's worth anything to dead men' when those guys are trying to rob her before she's allowed to enter. Not sure if that's from the books or not. I thought the show change to having the actor who plays Jaquen play the leader there who just so happens to take his face was another smart move. It familiarizes the audience with face changing and the actor was amazing in season 2 and he was great again in his new role in season 5 IMO.

Also because it happened in the infamous Sansa/Ramsay wedding episode 'everyone' hates it gets heavily overlooked. But in that same episode everyone shits on and has poor reviews it actually has one of my favorite scenes from the ENTIRE show. The first time they show the Hall of Faces.

Once I read the books and passed the show sometime in season 2, one of the things I was most excited to see was the hall of faces. How were they going to show it? I couldn't picture it on tv. It was to much. You'd have to build a whole set just for it. Well that's what they did. It's better than I can imagine. I was absolutely blown away the first time they showed it on tv. I had the same look on my face Arya had walking in there, shock and awe. It's huge. Bigger than I even imagined in my head. And the faces. I'm sure it's a ton of cgi but it's got such detail. The scene is absolutely perfect. The music is always 10/10 but it's as mood setting as ever. Just amazing. It gets overshadowed however because Sansa gets married 10 minutes later and shit hit the fan and everyone forget about the house of black and white stuff.
