I really like your points!

One thing I've noticed and really liked about the SW series is how the in-universe aesthetics have changed in a similar way to real-world aesthetics. Things in the PT have a sort of sleek 30's - 50's jukebox look (example). Twenty years later during the OT, everything is very 70's grey box looking (example) Now 30 years later in the ST, we get sort of a modern tech aesthetic (example). Sleeker than the 70's, but more utilitarian than the 50's.
