This state isn't survivable with the current housing market, and legislation isn't willing to change anything so everyone isnt homeless because of inability to pay 1.5k on rent every month on a minimum wage job. Please help us.

Suffering isn't new. Homelessness and poverty isn't suddenly happening. I know it's new for you but... Why do you think something or someone can "change" it now because you've finally noticed it's a problem. The thing is, rich people and the people in power know it's happening. They've always known. There are millions of people struggling. There always have been. They just don't care.

I know it's probably shocking to you because your young, but there are entire towns without clean water. There are entire towns of run down houses and homeless people. There are millions of people across the country who don't have access to food, healthcare, shelter, and basic necessities. I'm sorry you didn't know.
