I'm sick of people like you spouting this one dimensional heel/face bullshit all the time and then turning around and complaining that the characters don't have enough shades of grey.
Daniel Bryan fucking attacked her and HHH and Armstrong in one fell swoop at Wrestlemania and it STILL wasn't enough for you Brymarks. She only got her heat back later on by mocking him for his injury because that was the right thing to do, Bryan was on his way out. Still, Bryan won at Wrestlemania and overcame the Authority. That victory is immortal and no one fucking cares or remembers about the title vacating drama in the bigger picture.
The reason you don't see her get her ass handed to her every week on TV like Vince McMahon used to is because it quickly leads to diminishing returns and kills her as a credible authority figure within a year. Even HHH was starting to become a joke with all his constantly predictable Wrestlemania losses over the years before he beat Sting in a match that was seen as a foregone conclusion.
Brie Bella did get beaten up during their match but she was also on the verge of winning after her offensive comeback while Steph was on her knees, pathetically crying at the end until Nikki saved her.
She also got humiliated by Vickie Guerrero who had the last laugh on her way out, got punked out by Ronda Rousey at frickin' Wrestlemania and then there was the whole jailbird thing. She's been willing to make an ass out of herself time and time again but it needs to be kept to a minimum because if it doesn't, ultimately she becomes a cartoon and just another poorly rehashed version of Mr. McMahon. She can't replicate the Vince/Austin dynamic so there's no point in even trying.
People who cry about her emasculating the guys make me laugh, that's the entire point, she's supposed to be a person who you can hate even when she's obviously pandering. YOU CAN'T GET REAL HEAT AS A NON WRESTLING FEMALE CHARACTER IN THIS ERA WITHOUT DOING THAT SHIT. Why is everyone so defensive about being worked with the whole X-Pac heat excuse every time? And every single decision and segment she's ever been a part of has made 100% sense as a CHARACTER AND THAT'S WHAT MATTERS, NOT ACTIONS BASED ON FULFILLING THE HEEL/FACE QUOTA. She's been tough, fair but also biased towards specific people.
Leave the concept of heat and payoffs to people who are actually in the business and have read and reacted to crowds their whole life. You are a fan and while you can love or hate what they're doing, that's your right but you don't know better than them about what the masses want and how they should play their own fucking characters so that it's good enough for your criteria.
She's one of the last genuinely hateable characters left, both her and HHH.
And Stephanie's not pinning Ronda Rousey, if the match ever happens she's getting schooled. To suggest anything else is laughable and only shows that at the end, you HAVE been worked by her dominance while trying to delude yourself into thinking otherwise. Period.
