Maybe people who claim to be inclusive and anti-hate should stop immediately calling people they previously liked or respected "trash human beings" and "pieces of shit" when they find out they have a slightly different position on a political issue?

Opinions aren't violence. Having a bad opinion isn't a criminal offense - even an opinion that could be expose hidden hateful beliefs. Bad opinions that aren't backed up by facts and logic fall apart when debated against, which is why we debate the people who espouse them, rather than separating them into a dehumanizing category on par with the way they potentially think about others.

You absolutely have the right to dislike someone. But maybe you should pause for a moment before devaluing someone's entire existence because you claim they devalue someone else's?
