The strange case of Morgan Ingram

I just discovered this sub, and searched the Morgan Ingram story out of curiosity to see if it's ever been discussed. I am from the area, and while I didn't know Morgan personally, I am somewhat acquainted with a cousin of her's (the one featured on the Dr. Phil show), her uncle, and a few former friends.

Here's the run-down: Everyone thinks Toni is nuts, but they either don't say anything, or unwillingly support her in her bizarre crusade because they feel sorry for her. Some seem to believe that she went crazy with grief and could not accept her daughter's death, so she invented this "stalker murder" theory as a coping mechanism. I have a hard time accepting this, personally, think it's pretty clear that she has always been unhinged, and that her daughter's death simply pushed her completely over the edge. I've read the blog, and the detail to which she describes each day of the entire year that lead up to her daughter's death is simply unfathomable. There's no possible way she would have remembered things that clearly unless she had been intentionally recording it as it was happening, and she's never mentioned having done this, nor given any reason she believed she would have to. All and all, almost nobody who is closely acquainted with the Ingrams, or who knew Morgan when she was alive, believes that she was murdered. It's somewhat unclear as to whether or not she was legitimately stalked at any point, as most of the evidence for this has been grossly over-exaggerated by her mother.

However, it should be noted that most of Morgan's friends did not believe she was suicidal, and that what most likely happened to her was the result of an accidental overdose. Her death may have very well been a tragic accident, but not exactly a mystery.

Anyway, I know this thread is dead, but if any of you were curious...there you go.
