Hey there, situation twin. My SO spent last Wednesday morning v*ing, and it’s not been an easy week. We only have one bathroom, so I basically abused my kidneys until his bout seemed over, then I put on a mask and gloves and bleached the crap out of the bathroom. He felt better fairly quickly, and I’ve actually bleached the bathroom twice since. I’ve also been properly washing my hands like a maniac and am still using paper towels to turn faucets on/off.

I washed all laundry on super hot and dried at the hottest setting too, and honestly I haven’t been eating much since that day...but I have to go on. Nothing is guaranteed, except that our bodies will take care of us if anything needs to happen. Choking is not likely. Just take the regular precautions, remember to drink plenty of water, and know that this will pass eventually (and rather soon, in the grand scheme of things).
