To put things in perspective: As a teenager, I would have protested video games, skateboarding & junk food for a day off school. If these students refused to buy imported products, over-packaged microwavable meals, and stopped using their cellphones for half an hour, that would be much more authentic and impressive. The truth is that most of them would throw a fit if they had to actually give up anything comfortable or convenient themselves. ...They just want their parents to make all the sacrifices, and somehow still supply them with everything they want including products that literally destroy human lives and the environment in brutal ways.
