That’s because 1/3 of Americans literally dismiss science as a whole. I learned this from my conservative friend. He said basically scientists are wrong about so many things. Yet society treats them like they are the highest authority.

Conservatives live in a world of “misinformation” where the scientists, professionals, schools, and liberal dominated establishment and media teach the children incorrect theories like global warming and evolution. When the scientists and teachers are not credible, teaching me made up bullcrap my whole life, who is credible? What is the difference between fact and opinion? Fiction and non-fiction? Gut feeling, instinct, wisdom passed down from generations is their science and evidence.
