And I guess you're experimenting by homeschooling your kids hoping they learn something of value from... you, and your wife. Not any actual teachers and not from an actual school. But you have to teach the state curriculum anyway?

Tons of tools are out there and kids mostly teach themselves through learning materials and reading. Teachers in public schools just dish out busy work and talk about shit in textbooks for 10 mins a day, wtf are u smoking, it's glorified babysitting

You speak so vaguely, it's crazy. Did you even go to school? Obviously there are shotty school and teachers, but what crap have you been reading? As if you can't sit down with them and go over what they're learning at school

Whatever man, it's not about you. Once you put your kids into highschool or college they'll have some struggles, even if you're homeschooling them to be poker pros they'll have to be exposed to the real world eventually. You don't want them to be "brainwashed" with science and history, that's why you homeschool them. You're a conspiracy theorist/poker playing/cannabis owner which is fine, but the homeschooling your kids part is where you're doing them no favors. They deserve a normal life, you don't sound like an accademic or an experienced teacher - if you didn't talk like an angsty teenager calling everyone an idiot online, maybe you could play it off like you and your unemployed(college graduate?) wife are doing what's best for your kids, not just yourselves and your pseudo science/"I'm smarter than all the sheep" beliefs.
