This sub needs a reckoning on its relationship to The Gardai

So you've immediately resiled from "he was an MI5 agent".

This is someone who was appointed by an independent policing authority following a merit based completion run by the public appointment service. He wasn't a political appointment.

He never said that he takes their word for it. That is putting words in his mouth. He said that the Garda Síochána's view doesn't differ from theirs. If it is based on the same evidence then that's what you'd expect.

The PSNI did not exist when the Dublin Monaghan bombings took place. It is not helpful for you to conflate them with he RUC, although it does speak volumes as to your political views, which seem to be blinding you to reality.

I'll vote for Sinn Féin, but I'm not going to fool myself as to their links with the P-IRA
