Sunday Rant/Rage (May 22 2016) - Your weekly complaint thread!

While that's true, you're also only ever going to be able to use stuff that's on the App Store.

As a Carrier Rep, someone who sells iPhone's quite literally all day. I would urge you to really reconsider. Even Mid-Rangers like the Nextbit Robin, something I've actually bought myself. Is amazingly good for its price point. Motorola has, as you know, become one of the worst Android manufacturers so fast. Whilst you're correct that a vast majority of the market has a phone crappier than you. A vast majority of the market, only have a smartphone because it's affordable. Lots of my customers everyday, have no idea you can even get games, or what the Play Store even is on their Android phone.

Why would you go back? Because it's insanely more supportive than joining the sheep who walk into my store everyday. You're quite literally basing your argument, off your one and the previous low-end ones. Which in the scheme of things on /r/Android is not something people recommend, nor promote.

You're your own person, so by all means. Make your own decisions, it's your money etc. But you definitely shouldn't discount Android. Merely because your device isn't the greatest. The point of Android is that it has variety. If you want a phone for just calls and texts. You can get that. If you want a mid-ranger that wil function well without costing an arm and a leg. You can get that. If you want a premium flagship, you can get that. But you also have to be honest with yourself, and the Moto X Play? Is not something I've ever seen someone jump for joy at on this sub.

In addition, to your refund issue. If the developer doesn't respond to you. You can then contact Google directly to get the issue escalated and they'll get your refund that way. It's in the refund terms and conditions for the Play Store.
