Google Infringed on Speaker Technology Owned by Sonos, Trade Court Rules

You're stuck in a different time. I'm saying the patent is stupid in today's world where network connected devices are ubiquitous. You're point is based on a point in time where network connected devices were nowhere near as common as they are now. The patent system is stupid and does not keep up with the rate of change in technology. I agree in 2003 the idea of network connected speakers was a novel idea but even 5-10 years later I'd easily argue that with the widespread adoption of network connected phones that the concept becomes obvious incredibly quickly. The patent is simply not a complicated or unobvious concept in today's world but would've been in 2003, it still makes the patent and whole system stupid.
