The only people I will gatekeep, and I still might get some flak for this, are race-identifiers and animal-identifiers.

Race-IDing is almost exclusively used to exploit a minority you don't actually belong to in some way, and animal-identifiers are not dragons/wolves/whatever born in a human body. Not to be confused with xenogenders like cat-gender and dog-gender. Those describe people whose relationship with the idea of gender is "cat shaped" or "dog shaped" and are all totally valid.

Trans-species dysphoria isn't real. You're not "supposed to be an owlbear," you're just depressed. Owlbears aren't real. And "wolf" is not a social aspect, it's a living thing, which you are not.

I wouldn't have such strong opinions on either if cis people didn't constantly use both of them as some kind of "gotcha" against trans people.
