That logic doesn't make sense

John and patsy did it to protect burke. They couldn't have delivered the blow because an adult would know how severe it could be. JUST because one is capable doesn't mean that they could've done it.

They did the staging to protect burke, there was motive there.

Uh, a parent is unaware of the severity of the injury because the skin isn't even broken so they don't just call an ambulance and attempt to have her revived???

They prolly thought she was dead
