Suzuya VS Ken Round II

I mean, like others have said, both the Roma vs Urie and Suzuya vs Kaneki weren't really strong points for the manga. In the original tg, the power scaling was straight forward.

Eto and Arima were presented as monstrous and we saw fights go on for longer.

I think this was there up until the Rose arc, it took the entire quinx squad and Shirazu sacrificing himself for Noro to die, Tsukiyama struggled to fight Kaneki who was a lot stronger than him. The point I'm trying to make is that, I found the fights a lot more consistent back then.

Ever since the Eto vs Furuta fight and Rue Island (where Mutsuki and Takizawa defeating certain hyped up enemies unsatisfactorily).

Emotionally, I can understand the point of these outcomes. Like what the fight with Juuzou meant for Kaneki but narratively, it feels a little artificial and also underwhelming.
