Well... I hate to overanalyze, but can't quite help it. That just REALLY struck me as quite the weird archaic style comedic flex!?

Not quite sure what you kind of misogyny or obnoxious elitism (if any?) you perhaps meant by that, and I'm probably over analyzing!

But just saying that's how it comes off sounding now a days.

So... can't help it.

As such I suspect:

Beth from accounting is probably far (FAR) more many light years more interesting and enlightened in dialog, and as a person to spend time with, than someone like you, if that's what you truly believe deep down!

As such: I think I'd much rather just see how Beth is doing, pardon me!
