Teenagers of Reddit, what is something you want to ask adults of Reddit?

Learn to live without, and learn to be patient. I once spent every last dollar I had (and then some) to start a new job across the country. I arrived with only what would fit in my car. Because of how my start date aligned with the pay schedule I didn't get paid anything for the first 30 days I was there.

Everyday I would come home from work and sit on a folding chair in the kitchen (the only over head light and I didn't own any lamps) and eat Mac and Cheese while watching LOTR on my ancient laptop (the only digital movies I owned.) I thought I was crazy for moving, here I was not knowing anybody and not having any money, losing my mind.

But it got better. SO MUCH BETTER.

I don't want to scare you, but the first year or so as an adult is like being a college student with fewer friends and more free time to be bored. It was such a strange feeling to come home from work actually done for the day. No homework? No exam coming up? I guess I'll go to the bar, oh wait, I'm broke as hell...Call my friends to hang? They scattered too.

I promise you though, don't go crazy into debt, don't stay in a bad relationship, just keep pushing forward and life will get so much better faster than you know it!
