Tents are growing in the santa ana river. Saw some closer to the beach while biking to newps from HB.

People are downvoting you but I can't agree more. This seems like the only rational response in the whole thread.

You have these bleeding heart idiots in Orange County who just want to come across as empathetic and caring - however these are the last people who would consider letting the homeless people live in their backyard. They go to protests to get instagram photos and spend their whole lives virtue signaling so they can feel good about themselves.

It's pretty easy to pretend to be compassionate and judge others for having a realistic and cynical view of the situation. These same assholes who want to pretend that they care about everyone down there sure as hell havent done research on the homeless situation in Los Angeles.

I am sick and tired of people feeling bad for the drug addicted shit stains that ruin the SART for everyone else. I understand that there are people there who are down on their luck and that sucks - but I couldn't give less of a shit about most of the assholes down there.

All these people who pretend to care after their yoga classes so they can project the right image to the rest of the fake people in Orange County - they have no idea how many resources Orange County has for the homeless. There is a reason that people become chronically homeless and decide to live in a fucking tent. It's because they have to work/shower/be sober to get into a shelter. And they'd rather be pieces of shit floating through life.

I understand there are mentally ill people who have been completely shunned by society. That is tragic but at least I can admit that I am selfish and not doing anything for them. I'm not putting a facade and pretending that I care about them all.

I look forward to the day they are vacated. I do not want Anaheim to turn into PDX, Skid Row, etc.
