They do exist, and I do apologize if my words seemed insincere, it’s just a very strange situation and not every day that folks post about cults in this area. Either way I’m glad your friend is getting out of the situation.

If you’re friend is okay with the photos being posted and such, I’m not sure if you’ve already done this, but try posting on Facebook. There are some rehoming groups there that do well. Also possibly posting in other locations/different counties. I know someone that had luck finding someone to take in their cat for a few months while they had to go overseas for a job so long as they provided the foster person food for the cat, would that be a possibility?

I love cats and would offer to take them, but I’m just out of town far too frequently.
