TES 6 Announcement Hype/Speculation Megathread

Just make it less casual. Yeah it's key on bringing in new players but atleast make it more complex to them. I took me a while for me to get a hang on games like Fallout 3 and Dark Souls. While in Skyrim? Lol all you need is to tweak the controls for you to get comfortable at and boom! You're now cakewalking your way for the whole game. Magic was too basic and the removal of the class and attribute systems made the game more casual than it looked. Just imagine escaping Helgen while you're character is a fat ass Orc. Yeah that would be frustrating as hell but that was one of the gems that game's predecessors had. And it was fun. The point is, new players should atleast have a learning curve, it should not be too time consuming, but atleast give them considerable time figuring out in-game mechanics or even lore. Skyrim being casual-friendly made it inferior compared to Oblivion and especially Morrowind. And knowing that my friend(which is a casual gamer btw) has beaten Skyrim during his first playthrough and on Legendary, simply bums me out.
