[Theists] Can you offer a coherent definition/explanation of your deity?

As a theist, yes The reason being is we believe theism is the natural position where as atheism is an acquired position. Natural, meaning a predisposed belief in God when we are born. The position as atheists (please correct me if I'm wrong) is saying " there is no God or after life". In which case we say you're taking the easy way out. For example, believing in heaven or hell, what ever I do right or wrong will weigh on me. As an atheist you wouldn't hold that position. So a natural position of God it's only logical to necessitate the belief. When it come to evidence and the existence of God we can see similarities between religions that state who or what God is. It is greater than us, all knowing, all seeing etc. But when we use words like "exist" you have to remember this word has only meaning in this world. When Christians say God existed on earth it no longer falls into theism but polytheism. This is the same with Hinduism and Catholicism. The object of worship is created and exists in this world. So as a theist I couldn't answer that because our belief of God is outside the realm of time and space. Where as polytheist have created their God to be Jesus, Krishna and Mary. They have been given god like or the manifestation of god to be worshiped. Then there is Judaism and Islam where they solely worship God(the God from the description) a super natural being. As far evidence goes that is another topic. And if one aught to believe this but has no particular reason I would say he or she is an agnostic. They sense a higher power but they aren't really sure but I could be wrong.
