In theory, if we're getting titan customization back in Titanfall 3, how hard would it be to balance TF2's "shtick" titan arsenals?

ven with the bad launch window

yeah, i'm sorry but it was more about how they abandoned PC users and did a shit job supporting the first game on PC that turned a lot of people off from giving them another shot. Why do you think they didn't even try to sell DLC and just flat out came out saying they were giving it away. Because they knew how dismal of a job they did with the first game and they needed to do something to get back players trust.

It's 100% why I ignored this game initially. I only gave it a chance after the repeated rave about the Single Player on PCMR and Gaming. I figure if the Mplayer was garbage and imba again at least I got my money out of the SP missions everyone raved about.

I was pleasantly surprised at both the SP and MP.. I was shocked how much how much fun I have in MPlayer and I just kept playing it for awhile. (I actually stopped for a it and recently started playing again) I do wish the game did better but I think it's disingenuous to blame "bad launch window". COD sold like crap, BF1 started strong but a lot of people got bored with that and went to other games or have gone back to BF4. Sure, I'm sure some people picked BF|COD over this game but I'm going to bet a lot more passed it over because of feeling burned the first time.

and honestly I'll go out and say I think respawn dropped the ball yet again with this game. This game lends itself to being a fast paced Esport style game that harkens back to the old Quake\UT arena shooters. They should have been more proactive and maybe even trying to sell it as an Esport

Shit, even now I'd be cool if they just made this game F2P(i'm sure im in the minority here) .. You know, reward us people that did buy the game with something like access to all the Primes, camos, callsigns, something uinque, etc.. .... but just focus on the cosmetics they've been releasing (i've bought a few because they're cool and to support the game I ended up enjoying) but it would help get people to give the game a shot or maybe even pick up the player count. A lot of people still consider 30.00 a steep entry point for a game when hear all the time (fun game, single player rocks, MP daed gaem!!) Making it F2P.. people would be more willing to give it a shot and probably stick around and then likely drop money on cosmetics and shit because like I said. a lot of that shit is cool and people do love dressing their little heroes up to show off..

I don't know.. Rambling but TL;DR, I don't think the launch window was that big of an issue or a big part of why this game failed to do as well as it probably should have.
