Do you think there is a limit as to how much Trump should trigger liberals?

If your question is about widespread political violence, I don't think it is likely. More damage was done after Superbowls than on Saturday for the inauguration, though unfortunately, yes there were regrettable instances of violence that I don't condone.

But look at on Saturday, where there were way more people and zero arrests. That was an extremely peaceful protest, not at all a giant riot.

As far as Trump's part, I agree with you that he does have a part to play in riling people up:

Trump told his supporters to “knock the crap out of them … I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees.”

“I’d like to punch him in the face,” he told the Las Vegas crowd when one protester was ejected.

To be fair, I'm not going to deny that pro-Trump people haven't also been attacked, so I won't say that there aren't people on the left that are violent, obviously. But even if he was joking about those kinds of statements, not everyone will take them as jokes.

I certainly think he has a part to play, and couldn't be considered blameless. Trump (and Clinton) were the most divisive candidates in recent American history. You can't expect that after the election is over, everyone is going to be singing Kumbayah just because it's over. Obviously there are right ways (peacefully) and wrong ways (violently) to voice opposition or dissent.
