Why is there no security guard(s) at each pharmacy, considering we safeguard some of the most dangerous and commonly abused/misused drugs?

It was the catalyst that made me leave retail. I hated it anyway but that was the icing on the cake. Got lucky and landed a hospital job in a couple months. I told them I didn't want to work nights by myself anymore. I got a few days off and a call from the regional manager about how they were glad I was okay and all that BS. I never spoke to the guy before and now he calls me lol. they moved me back in the float pool closing by myself in stores that were more sketchy than the one where i was robbed. Go figure. In one of the stores the bathroom was down one night so I had to lock up and go to the gas station across the street to pee and I go in there and the guy is behind bullet proof glass asking me what I'm doing in that neighborhood. And I'm sitting on a million dollars of inventory and tons of narcotics. So yeah I'm glad I'm outta there and I'll change careers before I work at a chain retail pharmacy again
